Our primary capabilities are in the areas of aviation
research and training. We grew our research wings working with researchers
at the NASA
Ames Research Center, in California. Our associates have participated
in over 100 successful FAA and NASA projects conducted within NASA’s
simulation facilities (SimLabs)
and the Human Systems Integration
Division.
Our air carrier pilots have utilized NASA’s Advanced Concepts
Flight Simulator and their FAA Level D Certified Boeing 747-400 full
motion simulator. Our air traffic controllers have participated in
research projects conducted at NASA’s Future
Flight Central control tower simulator, and the Crew-Vehicle
System Research Facility Radar Air Traffic Control Lab.
Flight Research Associates, Inc. has a contractual agreement with
NASA to provide Air Traffic Controllers, Pilots, and Test Subjects
for research activities conducted at the NASA AMES Research Center
in California. Due to our association with NASA, we are able to provide
use of the Simulation Laboratories at a reduced cost.
